Zayde Wisdom Gives Phantoms Valentine’s Day Treat

I don’t know if I am in the minority or majority here when it comes to Wisdom. Maybe I am a fan of the kids story, or maybe Wisdom is just the type of player you can’t help but to root for. Wisdom is just 18-years-old at the moment, and is already giving Flyers and Phantoms fans a lot to be excited for. This weekend, Wisdom became the youngest player in Phantoms history to score two goals and assist the game winner. I love obscure hockey achievements. He also assisted on the overtime winning goal. Wisdom now has three points in games.

Here is his absolute beauty of a first goal:

Absolute filth on his second:

Absolute filth on his second goal:

And of course the game winner with his assist:

Wisdom is now second on the team for scoring, taking full advantage of this strange hockey season with the OHL just starting to get itself together. Wisdom has exceled in any situation he has found himself in, he was rewarded last year with being drafted in the fourth round by the Flyers. I am not sure if Zayde will ever become a top six producer for the Flyers, but it goes without saying they will be lucky to have him when in cracks the NHL lineup. Wisdom is a hell of a guy and athlete, I was immensely happy to see him get some points on the Phantoms cross state rival.
